EAS Consulting Group Realigns Its Management for Growth
Date:8/7/2012

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EAS Consulting Group, LLC has realigned its executive structure as part of a long-term strategy for growth. In the latest phase, EAS owner, founder and President Ed Steele has become Chairman and CEO of the company, while Vice President Dean Cirotta has assumed the role of President and Chief Operating Office, and Brett Steele has been named Chief Financial Officer.

The realignment, effective immediately, reflects the company's rapid growth and the desire to meet the expanding demands of the food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, animal and human drug, medical device and tobacco industries.

EAS specializes in Food and Drug Administration regulatory matters. It is staffed by former FDA compliance and inspection officials, and has an extensive network of more than 130 of the industry's most qualified consultants with many years of FDA and industry experience.

Ed Steele formed EAS as an independent company through acquisition in 2006. Since then, EAS has established itself as one of the premier regulatory consulting, training and auditing firms.

Mr. Steele had a distinguished 30-year career at FDA, beginning as a chemist in the New York District and later holding increasingly responsible positions at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition in Washington, D.C. Upon his retirement from FDA, he served as Vice President of AAC Consulting Group and Kendle International.

Mr. Cirotta has 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals firms, including senior management roles with responsibility for regulatory affairs, compliance, quality assurance and corporate management. Immediately prior to joining EAS, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of UPM Pharmaceuticals in Baltimore, Md. Prior to UPM he was President and COO of Leitner Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he was Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs for the pharmaceutical division of Bausch & Lomb.
