MEDxConnect(TM) System Provides Ability to Integrate with Multiple

Disparate PACS and RIS Systems Simultaneously to Improve Physician

Efficiency and Diagnostic Turnaround

CHICAGO, Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- RSNA Booth #5924 -- Compressus Inc., makers of the MEDxConnect(TM) technology for seamless connectivity and interoperability between diagnostic acquisition devices, PACS, HIS, RIS, and related information systems, announced today that E-Rad Solutions of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., has selected the MEDxConnect System to fuel its entry into the teleradiology market. The company made the announcement here at 93rd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), November 25-30, 2007.

E-Rad Solutions is an innovative teleradiology company offering customized support services, including on call, overflow, on site, subspecialty, and routine coverage in all modalities. Using state of the art technology to help hospitals and radiology groups improve workflow, enhance delivery of high quality patient care, and optimize satisfaction and financial performance of radiology practices, E-Rad Solutions will implement the MEDxConnect technology on behalf of its first client, a three hospital group in Florida.

"Looking to launch a new service model designed to simplify and automate the teleradiology process for our clients, we evaluated a number of PACS and RIS technology providers. What we found was that only Compressus provides the ability to truly integrate into multiple disparate PACS and RIS systems simultaneously without the need to be tied to one platform," said Mark Gonwa, MD, radiologist and president of E-Rad Solutions. "This flexibility gives E-Rad Solutions a cost-effective solution to provide comprehensive teleradiology services with seamless, automated connectivity throughout the entire process, from order entry to delivery of the diagnostic report to referring physicians
