a senior member of SOLE, and was elected to Sigma Xi, the honorary research society of America. He serves as a member of the External Advisory Board on Systems Engineering at SAIC, on the Systems Engineering Advisory Council (SEAC) of the Systems and Software Consortium, and the Advisory Board of the Center for Systems Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Dinesh Verma received a doctorate and a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.

The Graduate Fellowship for the School of Systems and Enterprises was created in 2007 by friends and colleagues of Dr. Dinesh Verma as an annual award to be granted to fund a full-time doctoral student entering the School of Systems and Enterprises.

The fund was established to recognize Dr. Verma because of his significant achievements in building educational and research programs, and for his national and global initiatives that led to Stevens establishing the School of Systems and Enterprises.
