About Dr. Althauser:

Dr. Althauser grew up in the rural farming community of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. He graduated with a BS in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999 and received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2004. After graduation, Dr. Althauser moved to Missoula, Montana, to start his dental career as a staff dentist at Partnership Health Center. The majority of the work performed at the community clinic involved removing teeth beyond repair from patients in severe pain.
