Strengthens firm's ability to drive clients' success in managed care
GLADSTONE, N.J., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hobart Group, a full-service managed market agency focused on securing formulary access for today's pharmaceutical brands, announces the addition of Dan Renick, RPh, as Managing Partner. Renick will provide strategic counsel to The Hobart Group's pharmaceutical and biotech clients, including GlaxoSmithKline, sanofi-aventis, and Forest Laboratories.

Prior to joining The Hobart Group, Renick served as Director, Corporate Pharmacy Management, at Humana Inc., a national managed care organization with more than 11 million members and the second largest Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage sponsor. In this role, Renick was responsible for Pharmacy Programs and trade relations, including contracting oversight with both pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy provider organizations. At Merck & Co., Inc., Renick worked with large employers, business coalitions, and benefits consultants in support of rational and evidence-based benefit-design decisions.
