DMG Productions to Feature Pro Mags LLC in an Upcoming Episode of American Farmer
Date:1/4/2013

Wakonda, SD (PRWEB) January 04, 2013

DMG Productions announced today that Pro Mags LLC will be featured in an upcoming episode of American Farmer. The program is slated for second quarter 2013. Specific dates and times are not yet scheduled.

Pro Mags LLC is excited to be a part of an upcoming episode of American Farmer. Audiences will be amazed by the Pro Mags all-weather gauge wheel system’s radial-mounted scrapers, which adapt to all row planters. Engineered for precision planting in muddy or difficult soil compositions, Pro Mags’ award winning gauge wheels and radial scrapers force mud, stubble, and other field refuse from the opening disc out of the internal side of gauge wheels preventing wheel plugging.

"The idea for the invention began on a tract of the wettest river bottom land in Clay County. It is a heavy, poorly drained soil which is often spring flooded. This created the repetitive and time wasting chore of unplugging gauge wheels in order to continue planting,” said Ron Hesla, President of Pro Mags LLC. It was here while unplugging a gauge wheel that he noticed the opposing gauge wheel had a round mud ball rolling on the rim perimeter. This observation was the spark triggering the creation of the innovative all-weather gauge wheel system.

With the help of his son Eric, Pro Mags has had a global impact from the US to Australia to Argentina to Europe in helping farmers plant in inclement weather conditions. While the system is designed to improve farming around the globe, the wheels are proudly manufactured in the US by a leading agricultural tire company.

"As farmers look to feed a growing population, the ability to plant efficiently and effectively is more important than ever. Pro Mags’gauge wheel system keeps farmers in the cab planting when and where they otherwise couldn't," Hesla said. "Pro Mags’ maximizes planting time opportunities, acres planted, and
