Cyndy Nayer Launches Center of Health Engagement
Date:10/24/2013

;private or public—or is covered by insurance offered by the employer, engagement in personal health is paramount to success of the total community.  Healthy people buy products and services, go out to dinner and on vacations, purchase cars and pay taxes that build better schools and infrastructure.  We are dependent on each other to rebuild the country, starting in our communities with large and small business," says Nayer. " We have no time or money to waste.  We need to pay for efficient and effective health care with the notion that health is the goal, and we must build the health systems we need."

Nayer is promoting new tools and thinking within the business and health care communities that her company serves.  "Cyndy is known as the person who gets things done, not just a thought leader, but an action-leader," says Leah Binder, CEO of The Leapfrog Group and a member of the new Advisory Board.  "She is pushing new heights in incentives and reimbursement by promoting efforts in product design, safety, coordinated care and health information technology that links patients with physicians for improved outcomes," says Kurt Brenkus, CEO of Aver Informatics, also an advisor to the new Center.

New tools and models will be launching rapidly in the next few months, says Nayer, and many will be free to the marketplace.  "We are intensely focused on getting the health-wealth portfolio to out-perform previous expectations.  Without clear goals across the health care landscape, without input and output from consumers, health care will grow but so will costs.  We plan to change that dynamic to improve business and create healthy communities," including  businesses, health plans, health care consultants, insurance exchanges, IT and health systems.  More information can be found at CyndyNayer.com.
