Conversantbio.com is now designed to provide an easy, intuitive way for Conversant Bio customers, primarily researchers and scientists, to purchase products from the company's expansive product line. In order to properly catalog Conversant Bio's massive number of products, lyonscg developed a creative solution using custom options within Magneto to keep the number of actual SKUs down but allow for many different end products. lyonscg also established a SKU logic system, a hierarchy system designed to index each sample by tissue, by disease, by cell type, etc. This system was not only used on the site, but was adapted by the entire business. Additionally, lyonscg decided to color code each of the product images so customers could easily identify the base material when browsing the site.
