Connecticut.

-- A session on "Translation to Clinic" that will look at the

opportunities and barriers to converting stem cell research to therapies

as well as promising options for using stem cells for drug discovery.

With its 10-year, $100 million stem cell research grant program, Connecticut has emerged as an innovative leader in the field of stem cell research. The state is home to leading academic institutions specializing in this area, including Yale University, the University of Connecticut and Wesleyan University, providing a culture where national and international stem cell research partnerships develop, thrive and grow.
