ConnectBiotech.org Launched, a Unique Life Science Business Networking Site

NEW YORK, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ ConnectBiotech www.connectbiotech.org today announced the launch of a unique business networking site dedicated to the life science industry, targeted to venture capitalists, institutional investors, sell side analysts, investment bankers and company management. 

ConnectBiotech is intended to help members communicate broadly and more efficiently with friends, colleagues and coworkers in the life science community. The website enables new relationships to be created and old ones rekindled with the latest technology.  Members can create individual and company profiles, connect to contacts, network at conferences, navigate social media, request investor or business development meetings and search for detailed information on companies. 

"We have been exploring the concept of using a new social media platform to best bring together our industry and provide a secure network for them to share information, including one-on-one meeting requests, conference agendas, as well as travel suggestions," stated Thomas Fechtner, founder of ConnectBiotech. "With the initial trial-launch, we are excited to already have greater than 1900 members, including senior management from leading companies, institutional investors, sell side analysts and other thought leaders in the life science industry."
