NEW YORK, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ ConnectBiotech www.connectbiotech.org today announced the launch of a unique business networking site dedicated to the life science industry, targeted to venture capitalists, institutional investors, sell side analysts, investment bankers and company management.

ConnectBiotech is intended to help members communicate broadly and more efficiently with friends, colleagues and coworkers in the life science community. The website enables new relationships to be created and old ones rekindled with the latest technology.  Members can create individual and company profiles, connect to contacts, network at conferences, navigate social media, request investor or business development meetings and search for detailed information on companies.

"With the initial trial-launch, we are excited to already have greater than 1900 members, including senior management from leading companies, institutional investors, sell side analysts and other thought leaders in the life science industry."

To apply for membership please go to www.connectbiotech.org. While membership is free of charge, it is subject to approval.
