Concentric Medical(R) Announces Co-Marketing Agreement With InTouch Health(R) to Advance Acute Ischemic Stroke Care

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Concentric Medical, Inc., the global leader in devices for clot removal in ischemic stroke patients, announced today that it has entered into a co-marketing agreement with InTouch Health to facilitate the advancement of stroke care in the U.S. Concentric Medical and InTouch Health will work with hospitals to create centers of excellence for treating acute ischemic stroke, developing comprehensive programs that offer patients the broadest range of options in acute stroke intervention.

Concentric Medical provides Merci Retrieval Systems(TM), as well as tools, resources and physician training to help hospitals provide state-of-the-art care for patients suffering from ischemic stroke. InTouch Health provides Remote Presence technology, which is a next generation telemedicine solution combining the power of robotics, wireless, and the Internet to achieve full physician coverage for patients that present to the hospital with acute stroke symptoms.
