Comprehensive Health Reform: A Must Pass This Year

This not only has a detrimental effect on patient health, it impacts job stability and economic growth. For example, the impact of lost workdays and lower employee productivity due to chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease resulted in an estimated economic loss of $1 trillion in 2003.
