The globalization of clinical trials is driving the need for more defined programs in the developing and remote areas. It is important to note that temperature excursions during the storage, handling, or distribution of temperature-sensitive clinical trial material pose significant safety and financial risks.

At Cold Chain MENA summit leading industry experts will convene to discuss the emerging trends in this sector, share case studies and set a new benchmark for this sector in MENA.

The summit will be chaired by Rafik Bishara PhD, Technical Advisor and Chair, Pharmaceutical Cold Chain Interest Group (PCCIG). He will be joined by Dhafir Al-Azwaie, Senior Quality Operations Manager, Pfizer, UAE, Hala ElKomy, VP - Technical Affairs, HoldiPharma Egypt, Dave Harris, Director International Logistics Services, Foreign Investment Office, Govt. of Dubai, UAE and many other industry leaders.

All partners in Cold Chain should have the distinct common aim in terms of ensuring that each patient and site is supplied with the correct medication at the right time and in the right condition and this summit aims to drive this point home.
