Date:7/25/2013

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) July 25, 2013

The next session of Clinovo’s TechTrainings starts September17th, 2013. This session includes a Base SAS, Advanced SAS, as well as a new “CDISC Standards: Theory and Application” class. The TechTrainings is a series of technical hands-on classes for entry-level, or experienced clinical trial professionals, designed to help them reach the next step in their professional careers.

The new “CDISC Standards: Theory and Application” class is an 8-week technical hands-on class taught by Sy Truong, President at Meta-Xceed and author of award-winning papers. The class will give an overview of CDISC standards: ODM, SDTM, ADaM, Define.XML and students will learn how to transform legacy data into CDISC clinical standards through real-life examples. Case studies will include data exchange, archival, and electronic submission to regulatory agencies such as the FDA. Often required by pharmaceutical companies, understanding CDISC standards is becoming a critical skill to have for SAS programmers, statisticians and clinical data managers. (Watch Video)

Clinovo continues to offer both the "Base Clinical SAS Programming" and "Advanced Clinical SAS Programming" classes. The "Base Clinical SAS Programming" class prepares entry-level programmers for the Base SAS certification. The "Advanced Clinical SAS Programming" class tack
