His sales and pre-sales organization consistently exceeded goals and grew revenue over tenfold in just four years by focusing on operational execution that placed the customer's requirements first.
At Saba Software, Smith built an enterprise sales team and grew North American sales eightfold to over $50M in two years through collaborative efforts with Saba customers and partners. During his tenure, Saba established the beginning of the enterprise-wide human capital management software market. As vice president of enterprise sales at iManage (Interwoven), Smith drove sales of the company's industry-leading collaboration products to enterprise customers.
