NBC to Have Access to Chindex's Medical Services During its Preparation and

Coverage of the Beijing Olympics, August 8-24, 2008

BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 23 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Chindex International, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHDX) a leading independent American provider of Western healthcare services and products in the People's Republic of China, today announced its United Family Hospitals and Clinics has added NBC, the United States rightholders of the Beijing Olympic Games, to the long list of organizations Chindex provides healthcare services to in Beijing during the network's coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics from Beijing, China, August 8-24. The announcement was made today by Roberta Lipson, CEO of Chindex and Chairman of United Family Hospitals and Clinics.

The agreement between NBC and Chindex's United Family Hospitals and Clinics is for the provision of medical coverage to NBC's personnel while in China preparing for and covering the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
