Chicago Biotech Career Fair to Draw Hundreds of Bioscience Candidates and Top Employers

MANASQUAN, N.J., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the world's leading online bioscience job board and life science career fair company, will host a the BioMidwest Career Fair in Chicago, IL on Tuesday April 15, 2008. The event will take place at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook from 11 am to 4 pm.

Midwest life science professionals from states like Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin will attend the biotech job fair to meet in person with leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Candidates will interview for careers with Amylin, Astellas, Kelly Scientific Resources, and many others. Companies at the event will be hiring to fill research associate jobs, clinical research jobs, science jobs, engineering jobs, pharmaceutical sales jobs and many other opportunities.

At the September 26, 2007 BioMidwest Career Fair over 300 candidates attended to interview with over 30 of the top biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the region. Companies like ICON Clinical Research and Cook Pharmica interviewed candidates for chemistry jobs, microbiology jobs, regulatory affairs jobs, and many others. All companies who attended the event were very pleased with the quality of bioscience candidates in attendance.
