Cell Therapeutics Announces Filing of Form 10-K

SEATTLE, March 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI) (NASDAQ and MTA: CTIC) today announced that it has filed its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2008. This filing is available for review on CTI's website at www.CellTherapeutics.com, or on the Securities and Exchange Commission's web site at www.sec.gov.

As required under NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4350(b)(1)(B), CTI also announced that its independent auditor's report included in the annual report on Form 10-K contains a "going concern" qualification.
