CareMetx, LLC Combines Operations with Walgreens-Owned Pharma Dynamics, Inc.
Date:11/20/2013

Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) November 20, 2013

CareMetx, LLC and Pharma Dynamics, Inc. (PDI) have entered into an agreement to combine operations effective November 19, 2013 under the CareMetx name. CareMetx is a privately held technology and specialty hub services company serving drug and device manufacturers. PDI is a Walgreens-owned entity providing new product launch support and call center services for drug manufacturers. The agreement provides the combined company with enhanced growth opportunities and improved service offerings for its customers. The combined company will be majority owned by CareMetx’ current owners.

“This is a combination of two like-minded entities whose primary focus is on serving the patient,” said Robert K. Dresing, Chairman of CareMetx. “PDI’s call center expertise coupled with CareMetx technology and services will bring new innovative options to manufacturers.”

CareMetx, LLC was founded in 2011 by Dresing and Mark Hansan, entrepreneurs and longtime partners with extensive experience in the specialty drug commercialization business. As founders of TheraCom, a specialty pharmacy and services company, they established a business model that supported drug manufacturers in getting their innovative products to market using state-of-the-art technology and high-touch human services, a combination that became the standard for the industry.

“CareMetx has built technology that will set new standards in the life sciences industry, assuring more responsive care programs and improved intelligence for our clients old and new,” Mark Hansan, President and CEO of CareMetx, stated. “The ability to provide patients with a higher-level of service through better data is what motivates our team to create innovative digital solutions. We are excited to be expanding our offering with the help of the PDI team.”

“The combination of CareMetx and PDI will create a dynamic hub services provider that can deliver innovative solutions for drug manufacturers, with a sharp focus on delivering high quality health care services to patients,” said Mike Ellis, Walgreens Corporate Vice President, Specialty Pharmacy and Infusion. “We’re confident this joining of complementary expertise will allow CareMetx to become the technology and service leader in the specialty industry for many years to come.”
