RALEIGH, N.C., April 3, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Campbell Alliance, the leading management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, today announced that its Managed Markets Practice will take a leadership role at the Premier Bio/Pharmaceutical Forum on Effective Product Pricing and Modeling Strategies hosted by the Center for Business Intelligence (CBI). The conference will be held on April 10 through 11 at the Doubletree Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Members of the Managed Markets Practice will have three separate
responsibilities at the event. On the first day of the conference, April
10, Steve Carter, a Vice President in the Managed Markets Practice at
Campbell Alliance will present a session titled "Identify and Overcome the
Most Common Pitfalls in Pharmaceutical Pricing." Mr. Carter's session will
cover
* Common mistakes made by pricing professionals, with real-world examples
to illustrate them
* Limitations in the way many companies approach pricing
* Insights into how decision makers can overcome these limitations
Also on April 10, Mr. Carter will join colleagues Keith Kelly and Lujing Wang, two Practice Executives from the Managed Markets Practice, to facilitate an in-conference workshop titled "Develop a Pricing and Reimbursement Strategy in an Evolving Payer Environment." During the three-hour interactive workshop, participants will discuss the evolving reimbursement environment, learn how to develop and execute strong payer strategies, and collaborate with other workshop participants to develop an actual payer value proposition and a contracting and pricing strategy.
Lastly, on April 11, Steve Carter will join three other industry
leaders in a panel discussion titled "Analyze Various Schools of Thought
Regarding Pharmaceutical Pricing Methodologies" at 1:45 pm. The panelists
