RALEIGH, N.C., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Campbell Alliance, the leading management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, today announced that Doug Linton has joined its Executive Advisory Group. The group is made up of industry professionals brought together by Campbell Alliance CEO John Campbell to bring special expertise to highly complex engagements. Mr. Linton started with Cardinal Health, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and surgical supplies and technologies, in 1981, and he has worked in the pharmaceutical distribution field for more than 20 years. Mr. Linton also developed and was president of several very profitable new business units for Cardinal, including National PharmPak Services, a re- packaging company, and National Specialty Services, which focused on distribution of plasma and oncology products. Mr. Linton reported to the founder and CEO of Cardinal Health during a majority of his tenure and was a member of senior management.

He then returned to Cardinal as a consultant to develop an analytical fee-for-service program for smaller manufacturers, and he directed its implementation with more than 60 manufacturers in less than twelve months.
