(Nasdaq: CADX), a biopharmaceutical company focused on in-licensing, developing and commercializing proprietary product candidates principally for use in the hospital setting, announced today that the company's President and CEO Theodore Schroeder will present the company's corporate overview on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 9:00am Eastern Time (6:00am Pacific Time) during the BioCentury Publications Inc. Future Leaders in the Biotech Industry Conference at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.

The presentation will be simultaneously webcast and can be accessed on Cadence Pharmaceuticals' website at www.cadencepharm.com in the Investor Relations section. A replay of the webcast will be available approximately three hours following the live webcast and will be archived for 90 days.
