About Breast Cancer Awareness:

For women in the UK breast cancer is the most common form of cancer with one out of nine women being affected at some point in their life. With more than 45,000 cancer cases diagnosed each year, breast cancer is the leading cause of death for women aged 34 to 54.

Whatever your age, size or shape it's important to be aware of and regularly check for any signs of breast cancer. So, throughout the duration of October various fund raising activities and campaigns are run in order to raise the awareness of the disease with the aim of raising money to support efforts to find a cure.
