Brian Cousins Joins Opedix Joint Support Athletic Wear as Vice President of Business Development

Opedix, manufacturer of joint support athletic wear, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Cousins as its Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, Cousins will be responsible for all sales, marketing and product development initiatives for current products such as KNEE-Tec™ tights and CORE-Tec™ shorts as well as new products. He will lend additional strategic support as a member of the senior management team.

Brian Cousins brings over twenty years of expertise in the outdoor and ski industries to Opedix, including retail sales, product development, brand management, and business operations experience. As the co-founder and President of Cloudveil, Cousins helped pioneer new athletic wear innovations, such as the softshell outerwear category and led one of the most successful outdoor brands in the last fifteen years, eventually selling it to Spyder Active Sports in 2008. Since that time, he has worked as a consultant for several film production and new media businesses in his hometown of Jackson, Wyoming, and remains actively involved in the outdoor and ski industries.

Cousins says, “I am excited to join Opedix and look forward to applying my skills to this unique brand of athletic wear.
