Biosecur Lab's Organic Ingredient for Preservative and Disinfectant Use Receives NOP/USDA and ECOCERT Certification
Date:11/2/2009

provides high efficacy against bacteria. Independent third-party lab tests demonstrate that BIOSECUR kills more than 99.999% of common bacteria just 15- to 30-seconds after contact. The independent lab conducted its efficacy testing in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) protocol.

A highly effective preservative derived from 100% organic citrus fruit (does not contain grapefruit), BIOSECUR provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy and is highly effective against bacteria, fungi and yeast. It is also 100% water soluble, making it easy to incorporate within both new and existing formulations.

Since many traditional synthetic chemical preservatives and disinfectants contain substances that are raising growing safety concerns, the demand for an organic alternative has never been higher. BIOSECUR is Certified Organic and safe for human consumption and use, as well as the environment, providing the cosmetic, personal care, food, industrial, medical and veterinary industries with a healthy, chemical-free alternative for their preservative and disinfectant needs.

"Today's educated consumers are looking for pure, natural products they can trust and many companies are eager to find solutions to meet this growing market need," said Biosecur Lab president Yves Methot. "Non-toxic, environmentally safe and now certified organic, BIOSECUR is a healthy, 'green' alternative to synthetic chemical preservatives and ideal for use in many market segments. The potential applications for BIOSECUR are virtually unlimited and market response to our recent certification has been overwhelmingly positive," Methot concluded.
