Bioscience Career Fair in North Carolina Expected to Attract Well Qualified Job Seekers

MANASQUAN, N.J., April 2, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the world's leading online bioscience job board and life science career fair company, will host the Bio NC(TM) Career Fair on Thursday, May 1, 2008. The event will take place at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel from 11 am to 4 pm.

Life science professionals from across North Carolina will attend the biotech job fair to meet in person with leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Candidates will interview for careers with Joule Scientific, Kelly Scientific Resources, Lab Support, Quintiles Transnational, Talecris Therapeutics and many others. Companies at the event will be hiring to fill biology jobs, analytical chemistry jobs, medical technician jobs, science jobs, validation jobs, and many other opportunities.

This is will be the first BioSpace Career Fair in North Carolina this year and a large crowd of well-qualified job seekers is expected. The last Bio NC Career Fair, held on September 13, 2007, attracted over 300 pre-registered candidates and 19 of the top biotech and pharma companies.

To be admitted into the career fair, candidates are required to have a four year degree in a relevant discipline and at least two years experience in a bioscience-related field.
