On Sep. 27, 2012, Longlive Bio-technology announced that it plans to construct a 4,000t/a enzymatic hydrolysis lignin program to replace a 5,000t/a crystal maltitol program. The company thinks this change can avoid risk appropriately and improve its profit ability.

In Sep. 2012, Tianrui Technology received capital support of USD284,400 (RMB1,800,000) from Anhui Provincial Strategic Guidance Funds for Emerging Industry Development.

Many global famous chemical enterprises will produce bio-SA soon, thanks to strong demand from new application fields and its low cost.

According to Thailand Commerce Ministry, Thailand government plans to release its national 2.5 million tonnes of cassava stocks to China, with preliminary price of USD200/t.

Global Bio-Chem's semiannual report shows a great loss of USD23,736,000 for the biological alcohol products, while the situation may get improved in H2 2012.

China's PLA export volume reached 21.500 tonnes in Aug. 2012, down 59.6% month on month, while import volume reached 287.904 tonnes in Aug. 2012, up 66.9% over last month.

In Aug. 2012, China's import volume of fresh cassava reached 1,057.600 tonnes, while import volume of dry cassava reached 523,846.570 tonnes, up 7.2% month on month.

Import volume and export volume of China's castor oil and its derivatives reached 15,395.404 tonnes and 1.570 tonnes respectively in Aug. 2012.
