About the Research Project GOBI
GOBI (General Optimization of BIogasprocesses) is an interdisciplinary German biogas research consortium to improve the overall efficiency of biogas production. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the program “BioProFi – Bioenergie – Prozessorientierte F&I”. The consortium consists of the following institutes: Agricultural Engineering in the tropics and subtropics; Fertilisation and Soil Matter Dynamics; Biobased Products and Energy Crops; State Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Bioenergy; and Fraunhofer IGB; IS-Forschung Pinneberg; Geltz-Umwelttechnologie GmbH; Agentur für nachhaltige Nutzung von Agrarlandschaften (ANNA); and Genedata
