BioStorage Technologies Appoints New Vice President of Global Sales

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- BioStorage Technologies, a global leader in sample management, cold chain logistics and biomaterial storage for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announces the appointment of Brent Atwood to vice president of global sales.  

Atwood will be responsible for the overall coordination, functional management and leadership of global sales initiatives. His key functions will include development and execution of sales strategies, key account development and management of BioStorage Technologies global sales team.  Additionally, Atwood will work in collaboration with the global marketing team in identification and development of marketing initiatives and new customer service opportunities.

"Brent brings a wealth of executive business development success in the health care product and services industry and proven experience in building strategic relationships in the global life sciences and healthcare community," said Lori Ball, chief operating officer, BioStorage Technologies. Atwood comes to BioStorage Technologies with nearly 20 years of successful healthcare, medical device/software, and diagnostic services experience. Prior to BioStorage Technologies, Atwood worked at LifeWatch AG where he held positions of progressive leadership, most recently serving as chief sales officer.

Prior to LifeWatch AG, Atwood spent four years leading Cerner Corporation's National Health "for profit" business segment and served as vice president, Enterprise Management Group, at Computer Associates (CA). Atwood received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hanover College.
