BioSpace.com Receives WEDDLE's 2008 User's Choice Award for Best Job Boards
Date:2/15/2008

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace (http://www.biospace.com), the world's leading niche online bioscience career and news community, announced today that it has received a WEDDLE's 2008 User's Choice Award. These awards are the only recognition in the $6+ billion global online employment services industry where actual users -- job seekers, employers and recruiters -- get to pick the winners.

The awards are presented annually to only 30 of the 40,000 global online job boards, and include industry stalwart job boards Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and Yahoo! Hotjobs. BioSpace.com was the only bioscience- focused career network recognized by the awards.

"In today's challenging job market, it's important to know the All Stars of the job board community. That's what these 2008 User's Choice Awards winners represent," said WEDDLE's Publisher Peter Weddle. "Equally as important, they haven't been selected by a panel of pundits, but by the working men and women who use those sites to find jobs and hire new employees."

"BioSpace is honored to receive this award, which is chosen directly by professionals from the bioscience industry," said Wes Crews, CEO of BioSpace. "For over a decade BioSpace has provided innovative recruitment solutions to the global life science community, and we continue to challenge ourselves every day to find new ways of utilizing technology to connect candidates with employers in more meaningful and relevant ways."
