Biotech industry in the Northeast featured on Hotbed Map

SAN FRANCISCO, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the world's leading online bioscience job board and life science career fair company, launched this morning the 2008-2009 Pharm Country(TM) Hotbed Campaign featuring the bioscience industry in Connecticut New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The Pharm Country Hotbed Campaign features companies and academic institutions from the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the Northeast region of the United States. The 2008-2009 Pharm Country Hotbed Map is available for download at http://www.biospace.com/hotbed_map.aspx?ContentEntityID=934 . Artistic renderings of buildings, logos, and the geographic location of the participating companies is displayed on this unique map. Various print collateral pieces and promotional materials are distributed throughout the year to life science professionals at events all over the United States and abroad, including BioSpace Career Fairs and a special mailing to laboratory managers across the United States.

Sponsors for this year's Pharm Country Hotbed Campaign are BioNJ, Long Island Life Sciences Initiative (LILSI), and the Center for Biotechnology.
