BioSpace Draws Record Crowd to Chicago Life Science Career Fair

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the leading life science industry job board and career fair company, welcomed over 300 biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry professionals to a BioSpace Life Science Career Fair last week in Chicago, Illinois.

At the event local, national and international companies offered a variety of science careers, biotechnology jobs, pharmaceutical sales jobs, biology jobs, clinical research jobs and other life science careers. Organizations present included Astellas, Cook Pharmica, Kelly Scientific Resources and Takeda Pharmaceuticals.

BioSpace handled all the targeted marketing for the event and pre-screened the 300 candidates in attendance. Pharmaceutical sales reps, clinical research monitors, R&D managers, biotech business development directors, QA/QC professionals and others attended to interview with top life science firms. Companies such as Amylin Pharmaceuticals, deCODE Chemistry and ICON Clinical Research were looking for candidates to continue in pharmaceutical careers, clinical research careers, biotech careers and many other professional roles and paths. The exhibiting companies have access to a private, searchable BioSpace Resume Database containing the resumes of those that registered for the event.
