BioSpace Draws Over 600 Candidates to San Diego Life Science Career Fair

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the leading life science industry job board and career fair company, welcomed over 600 biotech and pharmaceutical industry professionals to a BioSpace Life Science Career Fair last week in San Diego, California.

At the event biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics companies offered a variety of biotech jobs, pharmaceutical sales careers, biology jobs, clinical research jobs and other life science careers. Organizations present included Allergan, Biogen Idec, ClinAssure, DJO Incorporated, Invitrogen Corporation, Metabasis Therapeutics, Millipore Corporation, Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, and many others.

BioSpace was responsible for all of the marketing and advertising of the event, and pre-screened the 600 candidates in attendance. BioSpace also managed the operations and logistics of the event, providing a productive day for biotech employers and job candidates alike.

Pharmaceutical sales representatives, clinical research professionals, chemists, lab managers, pharmaceutical marketing professionals, and others attended to interview with top life science firms. Companies such as Baxter Biosciences, ICON Clinical Research and Teva Parenteral Medicines were hiring for engineering careers, validation jobs, regulatory affairs, quality control, biostatistics, project management, pharmaceutical manufacturing jobs, pharmaceutical production, and pharmacology jobs among many others. The exhibiting companies have access to a private, searchable BioSpace Resume Database containing the resumes of those that registered for the event.
