BioMedical Life Systems, Inc. Launches New FDA Cleared Non-Prescription TENS Device

Vista CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2013

BioMedical Life Systems, Inc. ( makers of Leading Prescription Pain Relief devices for Medical Professionals, serving the durable medical equipment (DME) dealer and distributor market - for over 30 years, has received FDA clearance to market its newest innovation, the REBOUND™ Health TENS device, without a prescription. This launch catapults the company into the newly emerging medical retail environment and enables this time tested technology to now be available directly to the public.

The REBOUND™ Health is a TENS unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) pain relief device that works “through the skin”, transmitting through electrode pads that are attached to the outside of the skin emitting a “tingling sensation” to help manage pain without the use of drugs. Scientific research suggests that the REBOUND™ Health TENS unit (electro-therapy) can be used to relieve chronic or acute pain by blocking the pain signals and triggering a release of endorphins, which provide natural pain relief.

“This is an amazing development in the effort to provide pain relief alternatives without the use of drugs that may potentially have harmful side effects. BioMedical Life Systems, Inc. has always had the philosophy that the option of drug-free pain relief should be available to everyone. Prior to this FDA clearance, the TENS units were only available with a written prescription. Now, TENS unit technology is finally available over-the-counter. We are pleased to see that the government is recognizing this need for change, and taking the necessary steps to enable wider access to the technology”- Mariah Griffith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Biomedical Life Systems, Inc.

The REBOUND™ Health ( TENS unit is a compact, extremely durable, portable unit measuring 4.9" x 1.4" x .65”, weighs only 1.3 oz. The TENS device is packaged for retail sale with all necessary accessories. The REBOUND™ TENS unit is Effective and Safe-to-Use for Pain Relief from: Hip, Low Back and Mid-Back Pain, Elbow and Wrist Pain, Shoulder and Arm Pain, Knee Pain, Ankle Pain, Joint and Muscle Pains.
