BioMarin to Present at the Rodman & Renshaw 9th Annual Healthcare Conference

NOVATO, Calif., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (Nasdaq and SWX: BMRN) announced today that Emil Kakkis, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Medical Officer of BioMarin, will present a company update at the Rodman & Renshaw 9th Annual Healthcare Conference in New York City on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 12:40 p.m. ET.

Interested parties may access a live audio webcast of the presentation via the investor section of the BioMarin website, http://www.BMRN.com. A replay of the presentation will be archived on the site for at least one week following the presentation.
