BioMarin to Present at the BioCentury NewsMakers Conference

NOVATO, Calif., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (Nasdaq and SWX: BMRN) announced today that Jean-Jacques Bienaime, Chief Executive Officer of BioMarin, will present a company update at the BioCentury NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry Conference in New York City on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Interested parties may access a live audio webcast of the presentation via the investor section of the BioMarin website, http://www.BMRN.com. A replay of the presentation will be archived on the site for at least one week following the presentation.

BioMarin develops and commercializes innovative biopharmaceuticals for serious diseases and medical conditions.
