BioConvergence® Celebrates Seventh Anniversary as a Life Sciences Contract Service Provider
Date:5/8/2013

Bloomington, IN (PRWEB) May 08, 2013

BioConvergence recently reached its seven-year mark since opening its doors. Beginning with a handful of staff in 2006, BioConvergence has multiplied into a community of over fifty. Its service offerings have also experienced notable growth.

Beginning largely as a supply chain and development solution for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, BioConvergence has since expanded to testing and production. These additions were a factor of demand, as clients sought a more comprehensive set of solutions to aid them in moving their product toward the clinic.

This willingness and ability to respond to unmet client needs is not only the foundation of BioConvergence’s culture, but also a key factor in its establishment, according to founder and CEO Alisa Wright:

“After working in the pharmaceutical industry for 25 years, I was aware of the gaps associated with the contract services. We designed an organization that would directly respond to these needs, some of which are streamlined logistical and vendor management solutions, partnership, and overall risk mitigation.”

Wright relates that the need for these solutions is largely characterized by the industry’s challenges, with its lengthy product development cycles, multi-layered regulatory climate, and economically affected funding landscape.

“The integrated and streamlined solutions we provide clients enable them to meet milestones and ultimately serve the end-users: the patients who need better healthcare solutions. This is the cultural mindset at BioC that drives us to operate with quality and innovation year after year.”
