Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc. Biometrics Joins Forces with the University of Central Florida to Fight Diversion and Help Combat Prescription Narcotic Drug Abuse

Pilot Program in Fort Lauderdale helps to Leverage Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc. with the University of Central Florida. Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc., will utilize UCF's biometrics, elite technology and other programming techniques in an effort to establish the best prescription monitoring program.

ORLANDO, Fla., March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc. a leading developer announced today that the company was selected by the University of Central Florida, UCF to become a part of the University's highly sophisticated and state of the art incubator. The University Incubation Representative: Carol Ann Dykes, expressed, "We are very pleased to have Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc. as a new client of the UCF's Incubation Program. We are excited and look forward to the opportunity to help them rapidly grow their business."

Under the terms of the agreement, Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc., will utilize UCF's biometrics, elite technology and other programming techniques in an effort to establish the best prescription monitoring program for patients, physicians, and pharmacies. This is aimed at stopping "doctor shoppers" from going to more than one doctor to obtain narcotic pain medication; thus allowing the legitimate patient to obtain their medication from legitimate providers.

Through the use of biometrics, Bio-Tech Medical Software, Inc. is taking an innovative approach to combat the ever growing problem of prescription drug abuse as well as using biometrics to prevent identity fraud which is currently used to circumvent prescription monitoring programs in 32 other states, and preventing these drugs from illegally getting in the hands of drug seekers and dealers. Patients will not only benefit from faster access to their legitimate medications, but doctors and pharmacists will also benefit from greater trust ensuring their prescriptions are not stolen, diverted, or otherwise used for
