duct that uniquely supports the diversity of workflows, data, and work habits within multidiscipline R&D organizations. CERF 3.5 is a major release that offers new options for data hosting and archiving and new project management features that allow PIs and project leaders to maximize research productivity.

CERF 3.5 uses flexible, highly scalable architectures where research data is recorded on central servers accessible from any location. We offer a new "Software as a Service" option and new secure digital archiving solutions. CERF 3.5 continues to refine proven systems architectures and leverage powerful semantic web technologies (OWL, RDF) that allow deep data connections, rich annotations and accurate preservation of data and lab records. The CERF data storage system ensures data accessibility for decades to come and the component-based CERF Extensibility Framework makes CERF highly customizable. Customers become partners who can work with Rescentris to develop custom plugins and tailored solutions to meet differing and evolving requirements for the capture, management, review, distribution and application of research assets. CERF 3.5 features new workflow and task management controls, greater flexibility, new communications systems, and support for more databases. Indexing and Searching have been extended, and new viewers and editors have been integrated using the notebook plugins and CERF publishing framework.

Best of Show Award winners received honorary signage, an awards logo, and an engraved award. They also will be featured on the Bio-IT World website with additional coverage in an upcoming issue of the magazine. For complete coverage of the awards visit www.bio-itworld.com.
