Science communications company Mains Associates has announced the development of the Core Communications Program, which provides science-based startups with tools for communicating with potential investors, collaborators, and customers.
Berkeley, CA (PRWEWB) August 1, 2008 -- Science communications company http://www.mainsgate.com [Mains Associates] has announced the availability of the Core Communications Program to help emerging science-based companies develop the essential corporate communications they need to communicate with potential investors, collaborators, partners, employees, and the public.
"Science-based startups traditionally have a difficult time communicating the scope and value of their research," says Richard Mains, Founder and Chairman of Mains Associates. "The material is complex and the potential applications and value are difficult to demonstrate. Emerging firms lack the internal resources they need for communications and founders lack the time because they are often still conducting bench research, developing technology, and running their company."
Initially, Mains Associates will focus on emerging companies in Life Sciences, Space, and Green Tech/Alternative energy sectors with expansion to other disciplines in the near future. The Core Communications Program will include key elements of a corporate communications program, including the executive summary, tag line, presentation, and Web content.
"Young businesses that are focused on research have not had access to the same tools that larger firms have," added Jason Cardillo, Managing Director. "In our 25 years of working with leading research groups we've developed an innovative process and extensive network that helps us provide companies with professional communications tools in an extremely cost effective way.
