BMI Surplus Launches Interactive Blog with Scientific Equipment Contests
Date:2/27/2013

Hanover, MA (PRWEB) February 27, 2013

BMI Surplus, Inc., leader in used scientific equipment and test equipment, has recently launched their new blog which will include ongoing interactive scientific equipment “What Is This?” contests.

With a customer base of "hands on" premier scientists, manufacturers, technicians, and researchers, BMI Surplus created their interactive blog with its valued customers in mind.

“What Is This?” Contests:
Since BMI Surplus obtains most of their inventory from research, they often end up with some unique and unusual scientific equipment. The “What Is This?” contest was conceived to test the knowledge of their unique online following.

The “What Is This?” contests will be ongoing blog posts of an image of a scientific equipment piece. Readers are challenged to guess ‘what it is’ and invited to comment with their guesses. The first correct answer in the blog comments will win a prize.

Robert Brams, President of BMI Surplus, was elated when he heard the idea, “Many of the scientists we have worked with over the years are going to love this.”

Featured Scientific Equipment & Industry Articles:
In addition to interactive contests, the BMI Surplus blog will feature exciting products in their used scientific equipment inventory and industry articles of interest – specific and unique to their customers.

“Since we add hundreds of items a week to product inventory we would like to use the blog to feature some of our most exciting inventory,” states Jacki Creed Ebone, General Manager BMI Surplus, Inc. “We may feature optical equipment, test equipment, vacuum equipment, semi-conductor or process equipment, basically anything from our used scientific equipment warehouse.”
