ce to arrange on-site doctor visits. Some CCRC's are moving toward full-time MD's on staff, to provide comprehensive daily and emergency care. Medical Director of Healthcare Services Dr. Dan McCready bases his entire practice at Atlantic Shores - able to closely monitor rehabilitation or long-term patients, and work with consulting specialists to provide personalized care.

On-staff Nurse Practitioners certified in Wound-Care, ostomy and continence-care.  Instead of sending patients to an Emergency Room or clinic for these needs, CCRC's are adding staff with specialized certification, for comprehensive, on-site care.
