Angiotech to participate in UBS Global Life Sciences Conference

VANCOUVER, Sept. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANPI, TSX: ANP), a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company, is scheduled to participate in the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference, which is being held September 24 - 27 in New York.

On Monday, September 24, 2007 at 8:30am ET, Dr. William Hunter, President and Chief Executive Officer of Angiotech, will give a 25-minute presentation.
