Angiotech to participate in Bank of America 2007 Credit Conference

VANCOUVER, Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANPI, TSX: ANP), a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company, is scheduled to participate in the Bank of America 2007 Credit Conference, which is being held December 2 - 4 in Orlando, FL.

Tom Bailey, Angiotech Chief Financial Officer, will give a 15-minute formal presentation followed by a 25-minute Question and Answer period on Monday, December 3, beginning at approximately 8:30am ET.

A live webcast of Mr. Bailey's remarks will be available to all interested parties at Angiotech's website, http://www.angiotech.com, in the Investors section. To ensure a timely connection to the webcast it is recommended that users register at least 15 minutes before the webcast begins.

The webcast will be archived approximately one hour after the conclusion of the live event and will be available until December 21, 2007.
