Angela Shen-Hsieh, Founder of Visual I|O has been named to the Board of Directors of AIGA--the oldest and largest membership organization for designers. Visual I|O provides enterprise class business intelligence software, that lets users throughout an organization to interact dynamically and visually with structured and unstructured data for revealing business insights and faster decisions and analysis.

New York, NY and Newton, MA (PRWEB) April 17, 2009 -- Angela Shen-Hsieh, founder of Visual I|O (www.visual-io.com), an innovative provider of enterprise software for interactive visual analysis, has been named to the Board of Directors of AIGA (www.aiga.org)-- the oldest & largest professional membership organization for design. Ms. Shen-Hsieh's election to the national Board follows her long involvement as a regional leader and past President of AIGA's Boston Chapter -- the association's sixth largest chapter, with 850+ members in New England.

Founded in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, AIGA is a professional association whose membership comprises 22,000+ design professionals, educators and students who are involved through national activities and local programs developed by 63 chapters and 240 student groups. More than 450 AIGA events are conducted annually to inspire, educate and foster productive collaboration between its members.
