Anadys Pharmaceuticals to Present at Two Upcoming Investor Conferences

SAN DIEGO, May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Anadys Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANDS) announced today that it will present at the Rodman & Renshaw 5th Annual Global Healthcare Conference on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. CEST (4:00 a.m. EDT/1:00 a.m. PDT) at Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Steve Worland, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Anadys, will present an overview of Anadys and an update on its two development-stage product candidates, ANA598 and ANA773.

Anadys will also present at the JMP Securities Research Conference on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. PDT (6:30 p.m. EDT) at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. James L. Freddo, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of Anadys, will present an overview of Anadys and an update on its two development-stage product candidates, ANA598 and ANA773.

Each presentation will be webcast at the time of presentation and can be accessed on the Investor Relations page of the Company's website at http://www.anadyspharma.com. Listeners are encouraged to visit the website approximately five minutes prior to each presentation to download or install any necessary software.
