American Pacific to Release Financial Results and Hold Fiscal 2008 Third Quarter Investor Teleconference

LAS VEGAS, July 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Pacific Corporation (Nasdaq: APFC) today announced that it will release its Fiscal 2008 third quarter financial results on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. John R. Gibson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, invites you to participate in a teleconference to review the financial results and outlook of the Company.

The teleconference will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. PDT. To access the call please dial (973) 582-2852 and reference conference ID #58118598. Following a short presentation by Mr. Gibson and Dana M. Kelley, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, there will be a Q&A session. Also present on the call will be Joseph Carleone, President and Chief Operating Officer.

The teleconference will be simultaneously webcast via Thomson Financial's First Call Events. A link to the live webcast will be available at the Company's website at http://www.apfc.com and will remain available for replay through December 2008.

American Pacific is a leading manufacturer of specialty and fine chemicals within its focused markets, as well as propulsion products sold to defense, aerospace and pharmaceutical end markets.
