Alpha Source, Inc. Hires Strategic Sourcing Manager

Alpha Source, Inc., a global medical equipment parts distributor, announced today that Raj Gunaratnam joined its supply chain team as Strategic Sourcing Manager. Gunaratnam’s primary role will be to build business relationships with current and new vendors as well as utilize vendor resources to enhance productivity.

Alpha Source currently works with more than 100 medical device and original part manufacturers, and distributes nearly 500,000 service parts to hospitals, clinics, independent service organizations, and government facilities every year.

According to Norine Carlson-Weber, President of Alpha Source, “Our goal is to provide our customers with access to the most medical equipment parts in the industry. In order to do that, we must continue to build mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors. Raj brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that will play a key role in cultivating these relationships.”

Prior to joining Alpha Source, Gunaratnam worked for RMT, Inc., where he was a Contract Administration Manager. Gunaratnam has more than 20 years of contract management and negotiation experience. He received his MBA in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and his BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
