Date:7/25/2018

Almac Clinical Technologies, the global leader in technology-enabled solutions for managing clinical trial patient and supplies data through its flagship IXRS® 3 Interactive Response Technology (IRT) debuts a first-in-industry podcast series entitled, “Spotlight on IRT: Best Practices.”

This podcast features both Almac thought leaders and outside experts discussing best practices relating to IRT, protocol changes, regulatory audits and the most current innovations in order to improve costs, safety and efficiencies in today’s complex clinical trials. The podcast homepage resides on the resource-filled Almac Clinical University and offers the listener the opportunity to submit questions, comments and/or a speaker for future episodes.

“Almac Clinical Technologies has been the leading partner in providing solutions and solving the challenges that occur in today’s dynamic global clinical trial landscape. Too often we see clients relying on legacy processes out of familiarity and forget to consider alternatives that may prove to be more efficient ways to approach a problem. Our intent is to shed light on some of the problem areas we see our clients facing on a regular basis, and suggest proactive and holistic solutions which can be readily implemented to ensure continued success,” said Valarie Higgins, President and Managing Director of Almac Clinical Technologies.

Matt Lowrie, Almac Clinical Technologies’ Quality Assurance Group Manager, who has 15+ years of hosting and managing regulatory agency inspections and effectively answering demands for hundreds of trials, serves as host for the series. The “Spotlight on IRT: Best Practices” podcast is free to access, available on iTunes®, Google Play™ and all other available podcast applications. Amazon Echo owners can also enable access to the podcast through the Almac Podcast skill, then simply asking Alexa to “Play Almac Podcast.”
