RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Ryan Burnette, Director of Alliance Biosciences will lead a trade mission to Singapore January 19, 2009 through January 23, 2009. Dr. Burnette will be promoting the need for international accreditation processes for high-containment biomedical labs as a lynchpin to an effective biosecurity and biosafety preparedness program.

During his visit, Dr. Burnette will speak at the Lab Design Seminar taking place January 19th - 20th at Biopolis, the biomedical R&D hub at one-north, a 200 hectare vibrant hotspot for R&D innovation and test-bedding. Organized by JTC Corporation, the master developer for one-north, the inaugural seminar, a first for Singapore, will be the ideal networking forum for international thought leaders, scientists, developers and other professionals to come together to exchange invaluable insights and experiences on specialty lab design.
